I love my life on the farm, I love the opportunities to learn and live meaningful days. But I am not a super human and some days, that sometimes last for weeks, are too challenging to tackle. Our memory is designed to work in an amazing way. We tend to forget the bad days and moments which we encounter a lot in our lives. Another surprise.
Life on the farm is never boring or mandane. It is full of stories, experiences, opportunities and moments that take your breath away. The day started as usual, doing chores after breakfast. By now we have settled into a routine and everybody knows what to do and it seems to work well. Ivana is in charge of preparing the bottles for feeding the goat kids. The weather has been , how should I say it, not very nice. If the calendar wasn't showing me that it is May, I would not have believed that it is spring already! Slavic Heritage Farm is getting some "feathers".
This is a really great news for Slavic Heritage Farm! We have been on a look out for some so needed machinery to help us save the time with tilling and expanding our gardens and berry patches. Can't do it any more with a hand held rototiller. And finally when the opportunity presented itself we had to grab it!
