On Slavic Heritage Farm we are excited to offer you an amazing opportunity to learn carpentry with hands on approach. Bring your own tools or use the tools we provide and come to participate in one (or all) workshops we have to offer during summer months! These are just some of the workshops that we offer:

 

Workshop #1

Moveable chicken house workshop

 

Learn how to:

- disassemble pallets and use other types of recycled lumber

- develop a design and make a set of plans

- use the tools and cut lumber to size

- assemble your workpiece

- learn about keeping chickens

 

Bring your tent for lodging. Homemade, wholesome, organic, garden fresh meals provided!

Workshop #2

Solar heated cold frames and raised beds workshop

 

Learn how to:

- disassemble pallets and use other types of recycled lumber

- develop a suitable design and make a set of plans

- cut and prepare lumber to size

- assemble your workpiece

- learn about extending growing season
