Statewide Farmers' Market.

What a great event it was! A statewide farmer's market at the Capitol in Bismarck. There were vendors from all over the state selling fresh locally grown produce, artisan breads, homemade soaps and lotions, local honey and honey products, cheeses and homemade preserves. The weather turned out to be nice , with just a few showers here and there, and the beautiful setting of the Capitol grounds added to the festive atmosphere of celebrating small farms and local business.

Slavic Heritage Farm put up a nice show with a variety of veggies, herbs, freshly baked breads and pastries, and homemade cookies and flower arrangements presented by young and aspiring businessmen. It was a long and eventful day!
