ever being bored

Living and working, learning and discovering, playing and laughing on the farm in rural North Dakota .

12 acres of our paradise are located 25 miles south of Rugby, a geographical center and a heart of North America.

It all starts with a spring and a dream! When the smell of the fresh wet dirt is so pungent that it almost knocks you off your feet it is the beginning of a miracle.  A miracle of awakening and rebirth. And it is just the beginning. It is a continuously  translucent chain of miracles that if you keep your eyes wide open and your heart accepting you will not cease being in awe. Always and forever...

When you create a special bond with the land and take good care of the relationship, in gratitude, the land will take good care of you. You will be the first one to whom the Prairie Meadow Maiden would smile with the lillies of the valley. She will play an ode just for you when you listen to the merry birds chirping away. She will make you sing inside when you take a stroll and inhale the life she is so eager to share with you.

He who plants a garden plants happiness.

-Proverb

-Buddha

The soul is not where it lives, but where it loves.

"What's a man without the beasts? If all the beasts were gone, man would die from a great loneliness of spirit. For whatever happens to the beasts, soon happens to man.

All things are connected."
